    What Are the Requirements for the Canadian Experience Class?

    1. Canadian Work Experience: You need at least 12 months of full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience in a skilled occupation in Canada within the last 3 years. The job must fall under the National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill levels:

    2. Plan to Live Outside Quebec: The CEC program is not applicable if you plan to live in the province of Quebec. You must be ready to live in any other part of Canada.

      • NOC B: CLB 5

    How to Apply for Canada PR Through the CEC Program?

    Applying for Permanent Residency (PR) through the Canadian Experience Class is a step-by-step process. Here’s how to do it:

    Step 1: Get a Canadian Work Permit

    First, you need a valid work permit to work in Canada. This permit allows you to gain the work experience required for the CEC program.

    Step 2: Gain Canadian Work Experience

    Work full-time in Canada for at least 12 months in a skilled occupation (NOC 0, A, or B). This work experience must be gained within the last 3 years to qualify for CEC.

    Once you receive the ITA, you have 60 days to submit your complete PR application. This includes documents such as your medical exam results and police clearance certificate (PCC).
